John Jebose, who appeared before City Court Chief Magistrate Rhodah Yator, pleaded not guilty and was released on a cash bail of ksh 100,000. Or a bond of Ksh 200,000.

‎With the state not opposing bond or cash bail, the accused’s lawyer pleaded with the court to be lenient since he is a young Kenyan with humble means and has a place of aboard.

‎According to the Chargesheet, it is alleged that on diverse dates between 18th August 2025 and 1st September 2025 in Nairobi county with intend to defraud, you obtained a sum of four hundred and fifty thousand (ksh 450,000) from Josephine Dama Karisa by falsely pretending that you were in a position to over proffesional Barbar services at her Barbar Shop a fact you knew to be false.

‎The matter will now be mentioned on the 24th of September for pre-trial directions.
