Advocate Simon Kamere is in trouble after he was arrested and booked at the police station for allegedly forging a will with the intent to defraud.

The court heard that the advocate forged the will of the deceased to leave some family members and the widow in trouble.

The court heard that the accused person allegedly forged the will of the late Pius Kimani Mwaura, dated 29th May 201,4, contrary to the law.

According to the prosecution, the accused person is alleged to have committed the offence on or before 29th May 2014 at Ukulima Co-operative House in Nairobi jointly with others not before the court, with the intent to defraud.

Additionally, the accused is also charged with uttering a false will to the daughter of the deceased.

The court papers in our possession show Simon Kamere is said to have uttered the will to Monica Njoki Kimani on 17th March 202,0, purporting it to be a genuine will signed by her late father.

He denied the charges before Principal Magistrate Gilbert Shikwe.

He was granted a bond of Sh 1 million with an alternative cash bail of Sh 500,000.
