Abdul Hassan Tahalil, who doubles as the director of Skyline Works Limited, has been charged with forgery at a Nairobi court.
According to the chargesheet, Tahalil allegedly forged an indenture of a parcel of land valued Sh25 million in Eastleigh with the intentions of stealing it.
The accused person was charged before Milimani Chief Magistrate Lucas Onyina, where he denied the offence and pleaded for lenient bond terms.
He told the court that he was a law-abiding citizen and he was not a flight risk.
According to the chargesheet, the accused person committed the offence on diverse dates between August 10, 2022, and at an unknown place within the country.
The chargesheet further says that the accused person had some intention of defrauding Mary Wairimu Muhoro of a parcel of land, LR NO. 36/1/18, situated in Eastleigh; he forged a title to the land.

According to the charge sheet, Abdul Hassan Tahalil purported that the document was a genuine and valid indenture drawn by the firm of CK Advocates.
Additionally, court papers allege that on 30 November 2022, at the Environment and Land Court Milimani in Nairobi, he knowingly and fraudulently uttered the Indenture during the hearing of a land dispute.
Onyina released him on Sh1 million or alternative cash bail of Sh.500,000 with the surety of the same amount.
The matter will be mentioned on May 6, 2026, for further directions
