Joseph Lendrix Wasawa has been charged with killing
Kenyan controversial businessman cum gold fraudster Joseph Lendrix Wasawa has been charged with killing a resident in Bungoma County and walking away.
Mr Waswas is alleged to have killed Mitch Barasa Kabiti contrary to Section 203 as read with Section 204 of the Penal Code.
The accused person, who is a well-known billionaire, is accused of witness tampering and using dubious means to get his lenient bond terms.
The case took a twist yesterday after the deceased father was allowed to actively participate in the case.
“Therefore, on consideration of the above-mentioned constitutional provisions, this court thinks that the victim has every right to take part in the prosecution’s case. Read it in parts.
Waswa is accused of killing student Mitch Kibiti Barasa by shooting him to death.
Following his brutal action, residents raised an alarm and called for action. Most of them called him a murderer who is under the protection of the government.
“This man is a murderer; he used his gun to shoot a student dead. He is now moving from court to court trying to obstruct justice,” said a resident.
The DPP has so far vowed to teach him a lesson and deter other criminals from performing such inhumane acts
