A woman who sells cosmetics and beauty products on Monday testified in the Jeff Mwathi inquest, telling the court that on that morning, he called her in the wee hours of the morning to pass by her house and pick up two hair products he had ordered a week earlier.

However, she was a bit alarmed, though it was not unusual to see his call very early in the morning, saying he was passing by to pick up the hair products.
She said sometimes she would deliver products late at night to her clients, but it was a bit odd for him to come for them at that particular time.
The court heard that Fatxo went to her house, and she gave him the products, which he promised to pay for by the end of that day, and he did.
According to another witness, Fatxo had left his house at 4 am to drop off some ladies, and while he was away, that’s when Jeff’s body was discovered at the apartments.
