ODM party members and the public have been assured through the interim leadership that ODM will continue to be a force for good in the year ahead.
The party, in a statement released to the press, said that it stands firm as the foremost defender of democracy, championing freedom, full participation, transparency, good governance, justice, fairness, and equity—values that are the foundation of our party and must remain our guiding principles in all matters affecting the people.

“We urge all our members to remember that ODM is a distinct political force, committed to winning power through democratic means. In this pursuit, let us be mindful of our words and actions, and avoid supporting our competitors in ways that may undermine the party’s unity and goals,” it said.
It added, “We’re not in the broad-based government; that broad base is a business of Makamu and other sangwenyas.”.
